I will be adding a few of the more unusual repairs I have done.
One customer
asked me to make a sling-hook for his soprano sax.
This
is what I started with: a spare clarinet ring I had made at college,
and a small piece of nickel silver.
I shaped
the ring, removing all flat edges, and cut out an oval from the nickel
silver. This I then cleaned up, and curved it to fit the saxophone
body. I soldered the two pieces together before soldering it to the
sax.
